A native of El Paso, Texas, Dr. Wade completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois in 1980. He graduated first in his class from Baylor College of Medicine in 1984 and was awarded the Michael DeBakey Scholar Award. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Baylor College of Medicine where he was named chief resident. He completed a fellowship in retinal disease and surgery at Bascom-Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida.
Dr. Wade returned to practice in Houston and provides full scope medical/surgical eyecare, including cataracts, glaucoma, and retina. He also lectures internationaly on a variety of eyecare subjects, has published numerous articles and speaks Spanish fluently. |
