I do wish to thank you and the staff of Eye Center of Texas for always being so kind and helpful. Several years ago I had had a severe detached retina. At the time, we did not have any medical insurance, so I waited almost a week before going to see my optometrist, Dr. Christina Acosta at Vision Source in Kingwood. When she saw the detachment she told me to be at Eye Center of Texas where she had completed her externship training, at 8:00 in the morning and she would call to ask that they would work me in. You can imagine our distress, no insurance, I am an assistant pastor so we had very little money, and not knowing how much this would cost. When my wife and I entered the building and saw the directory of doctors, one named popped out to my wife; Dr. Randall Dr. Reichle! She wondered if that was the same Dr. Reichle that she used years before when he first started his practice. You can imagine how great it made us feel when he came in to greet us and remembered her! From that point on we knew this was the right place to be.
Dr. Ting Fang-Suarez performed the surgery. She had such a great compassionate and caring attitude. Even though we had no medical insurance, she declared a medical emergency and got me into Methodist Hospital that day, even staying very late to perform the surgery. Thankfully, with the help of the pastor and members of our church we were able to pay cash for the surgery and your services. I was very impressed, though, that Eye Center of Texas never made a big deal of the costs. We were treated with respect and even felt like family by the time all the visits were ended. That is why we were so glad when we found Eye Center of Texas was a part of our insurance now. And we have not been disappointed! The Conroe office is great. Dr. Autry was wonderful with my wife and the staff was super!
I know you probably don’t want to hear all of this, but I just wanted to share my story and tell you all there at Eye Center of Texas, thank you again.
