Amanda L. Bachman, O.D.

Amanda Bachman is a native Houstonian. She graduated cum laude from Texas
A&M University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science. She received Academic Excellence Scholarships and Deans Honors each year at Texas A&M.

In 2001 Amanda moved back to Houston to pursue a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry. She graduated in 2005. She was elected to Beta Sigma Kappa for her outstanding educational accomplishments and received numerous scholarships and awards including the excellence in Neuro-Ophthalmology Service Award.

After graduation, Dr. Bachman began a residency in Ocular Disease at the Eye Center of Texas. After her residency, she stayed on as an associate optometrist for the Eye Center of Texas treating a wide range of ocular disease and refractive surgery patients.

Dr. Bachman is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Harris County Optometric Society.  She is married, the proud Mother of twins and volunteers with Big Sisters of Houston.
