Jill C. Autry, O.D., R.Ph.
Jill C. Autry received a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. After graduation, she served as a clinical pharmacist at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, N.C., for several years.
Dr. Autry relocated to Texas in 1996 and began training in Optometry at the University of Houston College of Optometry.
In May of 2000, Dr. Autry graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry Summa Cum Laude. She was elected to Beta Sigma Kappa for her outstanding educational accomplishments and inducted into the Gold Key Leadership Society.
Dr. Autry also won numerous awards at the college, including the Texas State Optical Scholarship Award, the Deborah Adler-Grinberg Award for Research, Ciba Leadership Award and Varilux Optometric Scholarship Award.
Dr. Autry lectures around the country on both pharmaceutical and ocular disease topics.
In addition to her professional career, she is married and the proud mother of two boys.
